Tencent Games is gearing up for its most ambitious Gamescom appearance yet, taking place from August 20 to 24, 2025, with a showcase packed full of new titles, cutting-edge tech, and exclusive gameplay reveals. The gaming giant will present over a dozen games spanning multiple genres, alongside major innovations in AI-powered development tools.
This year’s presence underscores Tencent’s growing influence on the global gaming stage, from blockbuster franchises to bold original IPs.
Pushing for a Sustainable Gaming Future
Beyond the game booths, Tencent Games is making its mark on the gamescom congress. On August 21, Rick Li, Producer of PUBG MOBILE, will join industry leaders from Ubisoft, Unity Technologies, and Xbox on the “Level up for impact” panel. The discussion will focus on reducing industry emissions while using games to inspire environmental action among players.
At devcom, Gamescom’s developer conference running from August 18 to 19, Tencent will host sessions on AI, anti-cheat innovations, and game audio design—including an in-depth look at the audiovisual language behind Delta Force: Black Hawk Down.
A major highlight will be the global debut of VISVISE, Tencent’s AI-powered game development platform, featuring tools like GoSkinning (automated character skinning) and MotionBlink (streamlined motion capture). These will be showcased at Tencent’s B2B booth in Hall 4 & 4.2.
