On May 9th, Riot Games Philippines has rolled out its 2025 Wild Rift roadmap, anchored by Season 2 of Wild Rounds: Pilipinas Open. This national grassroots tournament for Wild Rift now has a boosted ₱1.5 million prize pool. The Pilipinas Open and more events, along with the 5th-year celebrations of the games’ release in the country, will span Q2 to Q4.

Building on Last Year’s Success

Following its debut last year, Wild Rounds: Pilipinas Open revitalized the Filipino Wild Rift scene with fresh enthusiasm. Its return this year underscores Riot PH’s ongoing pledge to strengthen grassroots competitive play.

Pre-Event Community Activities

Before the main tournament, Riot PH will roll out the Wild Rounds Circuit with several community-focused events. First up is Wild Rift Wednesdays, a weekly series—launched in April—where creators and fans team up to celebrate the Wild Rift PH scene.

Following that, Ground Zero Tournament partners will organize local amateur and grassroots competitions from May through October. These neighborhood-level matches will highlight up-and-coming players across the Philippines and give them a taste of professional-style competition.

The Wild Rounds: Pilipinas Open 2025 features three splits—one per quarter—in an open, nationwide format.

• Split 1 Registration: Opened May 10th
• Drawing of Brackets: Drawn June 9th and revealed June 10th
• Group Stages:
  • A & B: June 14–15
  • C & D: June 21–22
• Top 16 Announcement: June 25
• Top 16 Matches: June 28
• Top 8 Matches: June 29
• Live Finals: July 5

Wild Rounds: Smash Invitational

Wild Rounds: Smash debuts as an all-star invitational. The event will pit pro teams against top Filipino creators under revamped mechanics.

Celebrating 5 Years of Wild Rift PH

In October 2025, Riot PH marks five years of Wild Rift in the Philippines. Expect exclusive in-game events, special rewards, and surprise content to thank players old and new.
